Development of a modern healthcare system, improvement of the quality of medical care, introduction of innovations and improvement of business processes are closely related to the advanced experience of the private sector. The delegation of Uzbekistan got acquainted in detail with the achievements of the private sector in the spheres of healthcare and pharmaceuticals of the Russian Federation and determined promising directions of mutual cooperation. The activity of the international medical cluster aroused special interest. This model envisages the creation of a special legal regime for the introduction of international medical technologies, advanced medical standards and modern management practices. Successful approaches based on prioritizing the patient's interests were discussed during visits to "Lapino", "Hadassah Medical Moscow" and "Olimp Klinik MARS" clinics. Special attention was also paid to the field of biotechnology. The members of the delegation got acquainted with the full cycle of drug development and production at the base of the GENERIUM research and development company. In addition, negotiations were held on the issues of technology transfer, localization of the production of drugs in high demand in Uzbekistan, and the establishment of joint research and production areas. DEAR COLLEAGUES! We are pleased to invite you to take part in the II International Congress on Childhood Cancer “From Cure to Quality of Life”. The Congress will be held within the framework of the World Summit “Investing in Children’s Well-being: A Path to Sustainable and Equitable Development for Future Generations”, to be held on October 21–22, 2026, in the city of Samarkand (Republic of Uzbekistan). The Scientific and Practical Medical Center for Pediatric Oncology, Hematology and Immunology has the honor to extend its respect and consideration.
