A high-tech organ-saving reconstructive surgery was successfully performed in Surkhandarya. The doctor of the surgical department of the Children's Oncology, Hematology and Immunology Scientific and Practical Medical Center, candidate of medical sciences A.T. Specialists led by Shukurullayev successfully performed reconstructive plastic surgery on a 17-year-old patient living in Angor district of Surkhondarya region from a tumor found in the distal part of the femur. Based on the conclusion of the multidisciplinary council, an individual treatment tactic suitable for his condition was determined. During the operation, A.T. Shukurullayev and the surgical team radically removed the bone part affected by the tumor at the border of healthy tissues. After that, modern reconstructive and plastic surgery methods aimed at preserving the locomotor function of the leg as much as possible were used. This complex operation is one of the important steps towards the wide introduction of modern technologies that preserve the limb in medical practice in the treatment of malignant tumors in children. Such surgical methods are important in improving the quality of life of patients, maintaining movement activity and increasing the long-term results of treatment. Currently, the general condition of the patient is satisfactory. He continues rehabilitation procedures under the supervision of specialists of the Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Children's Oncology, Hematology and Immunology.
